INCREDIBLE IN THE STATES
It's incredible how such an incompetent person could have been elected in the largest Western democracy.
Aside from the fact that his financial incompetence (his businesses have seen six bankruptcies) fails to make him understand that import duties make goods more expensive for his subjects, the tragedy is that he's surrounded by a plethora of swaggering HILLBILLIES who don't dare point this out to him for fear of being left out of the loop.
But what is a HILLBILLY?
His Deputy J.D. VANCE explained it thoroughly in his autobiography; "hillbilly" is the right term to describe what happened in Jackson, Kentucky, a town of 6,000 where he spent his childhood with his grandparents.
Around here, some might say, "Are you from Genga?" With all due respect to that town (population 1,738) in the Marche region, where the local vineyard diggers came from.
